The Book Cover

Every ebook 'how to' guide tells you to get the cover done professionally. People buy books based on their first impression of the cover. Jeremy Clarkson once wrote that all his books - and he reads a lot, apparently - have cover pictures of fighter planes or submarines or explosions or similar. The cover sells the book.

Now, I can't draw or paint, and while I'm competent with a camera I have no clue how to produce a cover image on a PC. If I did attempt it, it would look like I'd done it, if you follow me.

Luckily, I know a genius cartoonist and illustrator called Joe Watson. His company , JWI (Joseph Watson Illustration) does everything from web design to comics and graphic novels.

Book Cover? no problem, said Joe. The result, I think, is superb....
